Every platform has unclaimed modifier combinations, but finding them means cross-referencing the OS, your browser, your editor, your chat app and everything else you run. KeyGap does that for you.
The main insight: on macOS, ⌘⌃ (Cmd+Ctrl) is almost entirely unclaimed. On Windows, Win+Ctrl is the equivalent. Most people don't know this.
Pick your platform and the apps you use. Each tab is a modifier combination. Teal keys are free to claim for your own shortcuts, scripts, Raycast commands or automations. To check one shortcut, just press it. If your browser reacts to it first, choose Block browser shortcuts and try again.
Shortcut data comes from official documentation. Some apps let you rebind everything, and plugins or extensions add their own shortcuts. If you spot something wrong, open an issue or pull request.
